Caitlin attended her first birth, as an observer, in May of 2016. She was looking for a career path and was thinking maybe a birth Doula would be a good fit for her. She developed a love for birth and never looked back.  She completed Doula training but did not certify because it limits the scope of what she can do at a birth.  Caitlin quickly took on many roles, doing anything needed at each birth she attended. Caitlin has served as a Doula, an assistant,  and a babysitter....all at once at a few births. Caitlin looks forward to going on to being a midwife herself when the time is right. 

Caitlin is a member of the Mississippi Midwives Alliance. As of July, 2017, Caitlin has assisted at 18 home births.  

 

When not attending births, Caitlin enjoys drawing, make up,  being an awesome co-player and going to fandom conventions.
